Often his teammates think he isn't much interested in their conversations due to the fact that he 'spaces' out. Lux and Sam are like everyone else around them, yet both different at the same time. Sam finds himself asking Lux to accompany him on his journey home. And Lux finds herself agreeing. Along the journey they learn new things but Lux is beginning to have second thoughts. What she finds out about Sam is something she's never thought of, something more sinister than the rumors. Can love really be more powerful than fear or is it just a myth like the Faeries?

Stand back and watch a selfish, malevolent man take down the city with his bare hands? No. She's going to steal from the rich and give back to the poor, of course.
