It shows how happiness is something we all chase in different ways, and makes us think about what happiness really means to us.

Night Rain on Pendleton Pike is an intense urban crime thriller that follows two meticulous operators, Ace and Maine, as they execute a high-stakes heist during a torrential storm in Indianapolis. The story unfolds across five distinct phases: The Plan: Meeting at a late-night diner on Pendleton Pike, Ace and Maine finalize a tight, three-minute timeline designed to beat a bank's automated security grid and an incoming regional storm. The Infiltration: Moving like shadows through a rain-slicked alleyway, they slip past a roaming security guard and use high-tech overrides to breach the facility's side door just as the main power cycles down. The Breach: Working in absolute darkness inside the bank's security hub, Ace uses her sharp hacking skills to spoof the system's authentication codes during a critical two-second delay, forcing the heavy vault door open. The Haul: Inside the freezing vault, Maine cuts through the secure currency cages to load up bags of high-denomination bills, while Ace keeps them disciplined against greed as time rapidly ticks away. The Escape: After narrowly avoiding a passing police cruiser by using the flooded streets to their advantage, they slip away undetected into the night traffic, proving that flawless execution leaves no room for error.

Initially, writing short stories was a hobby. It started soooooo many years ago in Jr High and continues to be a mix of Supernatural and Science Fiction. It's been quite a while since I wrote and drew one of my comic books, so the likes of Black Wolf and the Human Tank have been on a very long hiatus. Back then the digital age was still a few decades away from being the juggernaut it's become so the notion of publishing was little more than that to me. Now with the emergence of eBooks and self publishing, the dream of publication is quite plausible. The new challenge is the saturation of publications one now has to compete with. With that in mind, I've published these excerpts from my anthology here in Wattpad hoping to stir up some interest. As of now, Oct 2018, I have worked with my editor to complete 3 stories, she is working on the 4th and final. The goal is to publish before end of year, so more to come soon!
