A typical multiverse. A typical situation. Typical characters. But a shadow watches over them, waiting. They are oblivious to the darkness lurking right beneath their noses. What happens when the darkness reaches out its hand? Read to find out. This is my first book. I'm super excited to do this because I've got big plans for it. Please enjoy! Going for a mythological theme, almost, with my own spin on it. kinda inspired. This Crossmare story. It's not uncommon for God to play, befriend or even toy with other mortals. But rare it is for a God to ever do more than just that. for some Gods, falling inlove and marrying a mortal was unheard of, very uncommon, a mortal and a God may never bare children or fall inlove as some say it is forbidden. Nightmare finds himself in this predicament, a mortal guard catching his eye, he couldn't help but grow fond of this mortal. Cross never thought he'd ever catch the eye of a God, especially one like Nightmare, scared but stubborn, Cross tried to balance his life.

Inspired once again, in a 'royal' scenery. Nightmare saw him, at the masquerade party. out of all the souls there, this one caught his eye in particular. He wasn't like his brother Dream, he had no interest in befriending anyone, yet he wanted to know this strangers name. But what if the stranger refused his approach and keep his identity hidden from Nightmare, especially from a few others at the party. what if something comes out of Nightmares approaches. something more?

When friendship becomes a knife while the enemy becomes a home. Among new allies and enemies, will Dream finally find his happiness? Tired of trying to please others, Dream approached the destroyer wanting to understand the reason and not just blindly fight against him. Will destruction, positivity, negativity, and death find a home alongside each other? Error was hesitant to open up to a new alliance, but contributed to the brothers being on the same side. Ink and Dream abandoned Azure in another collapsing AU but when he returns to the base, he finds his area is occupied by another him but smaller and looks like an absolute nuisance with how much positivity is radiating off him (makes sense why Dream would pick him for his energy) He goes to talk about it with the others of the group, but it turns into a big fight which leads blue to be trapped in an isolated AU left to die till someone from the shadows goes to pay him a visit --------------- I did not make these characters I simply did some fine tuning to make them how I like them also the cover art is not mine I found it off Pinterest.
