Everyone in the town knows Eliana Grace. She's the girl with the warmest smile, the softest prayers, and the kind of faith that never wavers until her world cracks in two. After the devastating loss of her twin sister, Eliana's once-bright spirit begins to dim. Though she still shows up at every church service, every community gathering, and every youth fellowship, the girl everyone loves is quietly drowning in grief. Her baking? Less sweet. Her art? More storm than sunshine. And though she won't admit it, her prayers feel a little quieter these days. Then Malachi Rivers moves in. He's new, reserved, and carrying scars of his own but there's something about the way he listens, the way he gently shows up when no one else sees her falling apart. They meet at a church gathering neither of them expected to attend, and from that moment on, something begins to bloom-fragile, hesitant, but real. Bound by faith, loss, and a shared love for baking, Eliana and Malachi begin to discover that maybe just maybe God isn't done writing their stories. And even in the ruins, there can be beauty. Even after heartbreak, there can be hope.

At twenty-seven, Aurora Elise Navarro has spent her life on the sidelines, tethered to the confines of a rare disease known as Still's Syndrome, a condition that limits her mobility and causes chronic pain. Aurora's world is small but richly layered-she spends her days painting dreamy landscapes inspired by places she's never seen, content to live vicariously through her art. But deep down, she aches for something more, something she believes she can never have: a life filled with passion, adventure, and love. Enter Lucas Adrian West, a thirty-two-year-old travel photographer whose own life is marked by a shadow he cannot escape. Still mourning the loss of his fiancée three years earlier, Lucas travels the globe to avoid confronting the loneliness that follows him wherever he goes. When Lucas stumbles upon Aurora's paintings in a small gallery in their shared hometown of Port Echo, he feels an inexplicable pull toward the artist behind them. What begins as an unlikely friendship blossoms into a transformative love story, but it is not without its challenges. Aurora must learn to trust that her illness doesn't define her worth, and Lucas must find the courage to embrace a future that doesn't include his past. Together, they embark on a journey to the French Riviera, where Aurora's paintings come to life, and both learn what it truly means to heal and let love in.

A heart wrenching tale of survival, hope and the unbreakable spirit of a young girl trapped in a world of silence and shame. I was only twelve when I was enrolled into convent school. Life was already bleak for me, I didn't know what I wanted because I was a child, so I let people make decisions for me even when i wasn't comfortable with the decisions. Most times i just carried out whatever was decided for me without a sigh or murmur, not even when i was being bundled into the jeep that would take me to this godforsaken convent (which i now see as a prison from which i can never escape). I'm now fifteen years old and that's three years in the school. Many things going on which I couldn't say, everyone agreed and believed that I was fulfilling God's purpose in my life because I'd always been a special child. Different from my peers and way more mature. I'd tried to conform to life in such a secluded place but even till now, I'm never relaxed. How could I be, when I was being molested by each and every single priest, both residential and visiting. I soon began to see myself as another martyr, born to suffer for the sins of other people. Once, I tried to tell reverend mother of my plight but she hushed me and ordered me never to speak such blasphemy again to anyone. Thus I carried this "blasphemy" with me vowing to take it to the grave, maybe this indeed was God's will for me.

When lies destroy her first love and powerful enemies move against her family, Lucia is torn between revenge and the forgiveness she was taught to believe in. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Deborah, a young Yoruba girl, grows up under the strict guidance of her father-a devout pastor who believes that women should remain silent and submissive, always deferring to the men in their lives. From childhood, she is taught that obedience is her duty, that questioning is rebellion, and that her worth is measured by how well she serves others. But as she grows, Deborah begins to see the world differently. Every encounter with men-whether in her father's church, on the streets of Lagos, or later in her forced marriage-becomes a painful reminder of how society seeks to silence her. Married off to one of her father's church members, she enters a life of cruelty, where her husband's fists and harsh words are constant punishments for daring to have a voice. Yet, within her burns a quiet defiance. Through pain, loss, and the suffocating expectations placed upon her, she fights to carve out a place for herself-a life where she is heard, where she is seen, where she is more than just a shadow behind men. This is Deborah's journey of resistance, of breaking free from the chains of oppression, and of reclaiming her right to exist on her own terms in a world that tells her she is less.
