The year is 2020, eighteen years after the last Dragon/human war. The war came to a grinding halt after the Dragon-lord, Austin Flare, miraculously entered. He was the connection that the humans needed to see that not all dragons were evil beings created to torment them. Ever since peace existed between the two groups. But a new threat is rising. A race rightfully named Shades has made a reappearance. They want the dragons dead and the humans as pets, brainwashed to love them. Austin did all he could to help from drafting the populace's children, but now he has no other choice. The draft begins. But one boy, in particular, a human raised by a dragon since he was two months, would become their most valued asset. They needed the boy.
