Rusty is a young house cat living with his humans and sister, Princess, in the Twolegplace. He lives a comfortable, well fed life and enjoys the gossip of the other kittypets such as his close friend Smudge. But beyond the safety of his garden, Rusty has been told there are dangerous wild cats and that he is never to go into the woods. But the forest is calling and Rusty's not sure he can ignore it for much longer. One night, his sister Princess disappears into the forest, promising that she is only going to explore and try to catch a mouse or two. But when Princess doesn't return, Rusty must make the journey into the dangerous woodland beyond his garden and set his paws on a path he could have never imagined. *NOTE* ALL CHARACTERS AND COVER ART BELONG TO HARPER COLLINS AND ERIN HUNTER!! When Hazel a old friend of Rusty decides to join ThunderClan Bluestar decides that Hazel can join. But when Tigerclaw Winterpaw's[ Hazel's] mentor is exiled for lying about Redtail's death Winterpaw takes the life of a warrior and the soul of star clan.

"Oh my starclan!" Firebreeze yowled! "What?" Meowed Sorrelheart "We have to feed more mouths! And Sunclan is taking our prey every moon!" Leafkit and Rosekit were born.

Bluestar believed that she made the right choice in appointing Mistyfoot as the heir of ThunderClan over Mossheart. Yet she is baffled when, seasons later, RiverClan breaks what is supposed to be a time of peace with a devastating fight for Sunningrocks. StarClan promises that fire will save their clan, but what Bluestar needs are more warriors to combat the evil lurking both inside and outside of their borders, not a vague prophecy that no cat can decipher. When a curious tom makes his way into the forest and finds himself in the middle of this war, discovering a merciless darkness held in the heart of a traitorous clanmate, he seems to be the only hope left for the fractured clan. Hiking the Vermont peaks over 4,000 feet is a short but must-do list if you're going for the Northeast 115. For me, it's five mountains, one challenge, a new state, new trails, and new places to explore. From the summits, I can look across Lake Champlain and see what I just accomplished in the Adirondacks. It's that feeling of finishing one chapter and jumping right into the next. Every peak reminds me how far I've come, what I've pushed through, and all the adventures still waiting.

The clans have lived in the forest for many generations now. Shadowclan is a big threat to the forest as all of the clans are in danger of being driven out. Meanwhile a lone Kittypet named Rusty ventures into the forest as he begins his paws on a glorious path.

This is a rewrite of Into The Wild with my OC in it. Frost and Rusty are normal kittypets... but that will all change one day when Rusty decides to enter the woods where the wild cats live. ( I only own my OC, all other characters belong to Erin Hunter )
