Adrian Knight is a man in need of redemption--and a man out of time. He has four days to prepare for the hearing called to revoke his special asylum inside the United States. Without it he’ll be extradited to any one of a dozen different hellholes. Personally he hopes for Sudan. At least there they would simply execute him. Everything changes when Adrian meets a young boy desperate to find his missing sister, a prostitute named Ruby from the South Bronx. Adrian is rocked with memories of his own sister, beautiful and delicate and dead in his arms on the bank of a forgotten backwater. Adrian, still struggling with traumas past, makes the only decision he can. He’ll investigate. But bonus cool points if he can wrap it up by sunset. Trouble is by the time the sun does set he’s a person of interest in a triple homicide at the Museum of Natural History and discovers Ruby isn't the only one missing in her neighborhood. Between the lead detective building a case against him and the son of a bitch behind the missing girls, he might not have to worry about the hearing. Dead men don’t need asylum. Either way this ends one thing is certain--the body count will rise. And Adrian Knight thinks it’s about time someone else starts deciding which bodies.

What does it mean to be haunted? Long before the wood and stone began to crumble and crack, nothing sane or reasonable festered in the years the House stood empty. Holding whatever darkness and secrets within the walls of limestone and brick. No one, alive or dead, can truly prove to exist under the extreme conditions of the reality we have created or believe in. Before you or I began to see where time left nothing spared, unchanged, or unchallenged. Amongst the places where mirrors are broken, doors are slammed shut, and brick walls hide where secrets and silence mix within the darkness. A banker, Mr. Alexander Holder makes a loan of £50,000 to a socially prominent client, who leaves the Beryl Coronet - one of the most valuable public possessions in existence - as security. Holder feels that he must not leave this rare and precious piece of jewelry in his personal safe at the bank, and so he takes it home with him to lock it up there. He is awoken in the night by a noise, enters his dressing room, and is horrified to see his son Arthur with the coronet in his hands. Three beryls are missing from it, and the coronet itself is already broken. In a panic, Holder travels to see Holmes, who agrees to take the case. As Holmes was starting to handle the case, some peculiarities appeared. Arthur is refusing to give a statement of any kind. Holmes then found that even a strong man like him could not break the coronet without making any noise. Holmes begins to believe that Arthur didn't take the beryls. Someone else must have done it. Holmes totally realizes that the failure to resolve the case will result in Mr. Holder's dishonor, and will become a national scandal. Holmes sets about not only reviewing the details that he learns from Holder, but also examining the footprints in the snow outside. Eventually, Holmes solves the mystery, and Holder is flabbergasted to find that his niece Mary was in league with a notorious criminal, Sir George Burnwell, although she is unaware of his character. The two of them escape justice; however, Holmes is convinced that they will receive their punishment in due time. When the authorities did an investigation, they did not found one bit of the boy's personal belongings such as items in his bedroom, his pictures, certificate, or school records which was highly suspicious. It appears that every object that is related to him, had vanished. However there are people and witnesses that stated their encounter with the boy. Authorities cannot help find the missing boy without vital evidence or solid proof that can prove his existence in the first place. They have no choice but to ignore the case and believed that it was all a made up story. But what did really happen to Cowel? or Did he even exist at all?

The ticket was already bought for her flight on Saturday, Celie's Mom couldn't refund it due to a lot of work she has to do so, Celie just would have to go. Her friends bid her goodbyes on Friday evening when their teacher announced it. Everyone said goodbye."Have fun at Paris." "That city is the city of love." "That place is dangerous." Who said that? When Celie's fellow classmate said this to her Celie was curious. She found out more about Paris and heard about the two superheroes there. Now Celie was a bit scared and didn't want to go now because she knew she's very well she'll get akumatized. She gets upset for anything. Will she go or not?
