What does it mean to be haunted? Long before the wood and stone began to crumble and crack, nothing sane or reasonable festered in the years the House stood empty. Holding whatever darkness and secrets within the walls of limestone and brick. No one, alive or dead, can truly prove to exist under the extreme conditions of the reality we have created or believe in. That I know to be true beyond belief, more than I could ever understand within the dream-like halls that rotted around me. Before you or I began to see where time left nothing spared, unchanged, or unchallenged. Amongst the places where mirrors are broken, doors are slammed shut, and brick walls hide where secrets and silence mix within the darkness that only I must traverse now. You are now complicit, dear reader, in the uncovering of what is within these pages of my experiences within the Crain House. And whatever walked there did not walk alone, knowing there is truth behind madness and lies.

15-year-old Maudie has been feeling a bit... strange around Ezra lately. The fact that she stares at him all the time, laughs at everything he says, or how she dresses up more whenever they meet up to hang out. She was quite aware that she had a crush on him. However, Ezra doesn't seem to be sharing the same feelings back. Their love was unrequited. This story is basically an innocent romantic slice-of-life story that will slowly help with the character development. (Perfect way to let go of my drafted oneshots 👍) WARNING: I'm not going to mention and investigating cus idk how to do that. I do not own the InBESTigators or the story pictures GOOD STORY PLOT BUT MEDIOCRE ENGLISH I SHIP THE CHARACTERS, NOT THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY THEM

A Companion Novel in the Architects of Crime Universe In a forgotten village where systems move slowly and files close too fast, death is no longer an event, it is a procedure. When a farmer is found dead and his life is erased under the label "personal reasons," Naina Malhotra recognizes the language of disappearance. She has seen it before. It buried her husband. It silenced the truth. It taught her how institutions erase people without leaving blood behind. What follows is not an investigation fueled by hope, but by precision. Midnight trucks. Missing records. Manufactured audits. Threats wrapped in compliance letters. Every step designed to suffocate questions before they form. This is a story about how corporations, authorities, and paperwork collaborate to make lives expendable. About how truth is buried under efficiency. About how silence is engineered. Cold. Methodical. Unforgiving. Personal Reasons exposes a world where justice is optimized out of existence-and only those willing to endure isolation, pressure, and erasure can fight back.
