A nossa história ocorre no beco da coruja no Rio de Janeiro, um bonito local de visão privilegiada no alto dos morros cariocas que é desprezado pelas elites e ocupado por favelas. Antes das Unidades de Polícias Pacificadoras, as UPP, ocuparem os morros cariocas, eram o local ideal para os traficantes se esconderem e se fortificarem contra as facções rivais e a polícia. As UPP foram um projeto de sucesso da Secretaria Estadual de Segurança Pública do Rio de Janeiro que conseguiu instituir polícias comunitárias nas favelas cariocas, desarticulando estas quadrilhas que antes controlavam estes territórios como estados paralelos. O beco da coruja relata a vida do traficante Gerinho e de seus amigos do grupo Comando Vermelho. O Comando Vermelho, com a sigla CV, era uma organização criminosa no Brasil. Foi criada em 1979 na prisão da Ilha Grande,  Rio de Janeiro, como um conjunto de presos comuns e presos políticos. Os principais grupos rivais do Comando Vermelho eram o Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP) e (ADA) Amigos dos Amigos, além das milícias.

And in order to not have attachments, he uses Regina to kill Marmo and Bel Traumatized and desperate they find refuge in Maya and Rachel. Now they have to navigate living with normal people and having Doki Doki While fighting against the one person they respected more than anything.
