AVENGERS INITIATIVE The battle between good and evil has been raging throughout human history. It has taken many forms and been fought by many different individuals. Should the forces of darkness prevail, cruelty and unfairness would overtake the world. A terrible reign of injustice, oppression and despair would become a harsh reality. The Attack on America was a warning that the forces of evil were poised to destroy our way of life. However, the intervention of Iron Man proved that there were heroes ready to stand up against these new and terrifying threats to the United States. From that fateful day, an idea was born. Tony Stark's act of bravery and heroism caused S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury to begin the Avengers Initiative. Now is the time. In this age of heroes, there are new champions ready to believe in good. The incredible power of the Hulk has been harnessed to battle evil. From the realm of Asgard, the mighty Thor has sworn to protect the people of Earth. A pair of master assassins, Hawkeye and Black Widow, are ready to fight the good fight. The man out of time, Captain America, has returned to defend the country he loves. Led by Iron Man, the Avengers have assembled. The story of a generation begins here!

Her life seemed to be going in a completely normal direction until the Battle of New York tore through the heart of New York City. She barely escaped the battle with her life. Four years later and she seems to have gotten over it, her life continuing as she is doing research in the middle of the desert. When suddenly masked men are pointing guns at her and demanding her to hand over her research, her world is thrown back into a downward spiral when she is taken in by the Avengers. All Serenity knew was this: one there were strange aliens falling from the sky in New York City and attacking her and her friends (they just went to go look around!), people were running, there was this weird red robot, a cute guy in some sort of American suit, a hot strong blond with a hammer, a giant green angry man and a redhaired lady in some leather suit. Oh, and some cute blond that carried arrows saved her life. She doesn't know who this guy is but she's deeply in love with him and can't wait to see him again. Only she doesn't know him very well and where did he go? So Serenity decides to do the one thing that will help her: wait for him to come to her. So after waiting for a VERY LONG TIME, New York City is under attack by a man named Doctor Doom and the Arrow Man Guy comes back. Serenity feels that this is her one chance to get to know him only will she ever tell him her love for him when he's going around and trying to save people, completely ignoring her until he's done saving them?

Charlie and Emily join SHIELD and the Avengers. But what will happen when Charlie finds out that she was adopted and that her real brother is Bruce Banner. What will happen when Clint Barton and Thor fall head over heels for the two new girls.

Sequel to Falling For A Superhero. Serenity feels that she is in the right place. She's got Hawkeye, a cute superhero boyfriend and is now part of the Avengers, the mightiest superheroes. She can now finally go on to missions with them even though Hawkeye forbids her to come with them, for the fear of losing her (like he almost did to Doctor Doom). When a mission is called to the Avengers, Nick Fury decides to test Serenity's skills and she ventures with them. On the mission they meet the Justice League and Green Arrow, a cute blond that EXACTLY looks like Hawkeye only green. Serenity feels close connections to the Justice League and Green Arrow has his eyes lock on her. Serenity starts to fall for him only tries to cling onto the Avengers more but maybe joining the Justice Leauge will give the Avengers a break of her super clumsiness. Besides, even if she doesn't join them she can maybe join the Orinistas and escape into their world from the other problems of her world: a secret her mother has hidden and now tells her, the search for her father, what Thanos might REALLY be planning... When Hawkeye sees this, he decides to show Serenity he's more than just a regular superhero and does his best to hold onto her.

What's it like to be a hero? Probably one of the most hardest things in life to try and be. You make hard decisions, maybe to save one but end up killing more. This is Nelora's tale to being a hero.
