A baby placed in a basket upon the Nile-left to the mercy of the waters. This was no accident but an act of faith. Moses' mother, with trembling hands, entrusted her child to God, believing the Lord was faithful when the world was not.
This is divine friendship-only a God who truly cares can turn abandonment into adoption and tragedy into destiny.
Exodus tells of Moses: a prince of Egypt raised in Pharaoh's courts, unaware of his true identity until God revealed His plan. God chooses, not by fairness but by sovereignty. He rewards the obedient, resists the rebellious, and calls us to trust Him even when His ways are hard to accept.
The wilderness proved this. God led Israel not by shortcuts but through deserts, teaching patience, dependence, and humility. Though they complained, He fed them with manna, shaded them with a cloud, and guided them with fire.
True friendship with God is forged in such deserts-where His presence sustains and His purpose refines.
