Alex has a head time trusting people. So when none other than Jack Barakat walks into his life and won't leave he thinks things are starting to look up for him. Jack is popular to say the least. Since eighth grade girls were throwing themselves at him. Little does anyone know he has a few secrets left untold. And everyone at Dulaney High School has quite a few sick little games to play.

Alex woke up in a hospital bed and ten years of his memory gone. Much to his relief, he still had his old friends from his teenage years. Especially, Jack, his best friend. How much has happened in ten years? Will he regain his memory? How was his relationship with Jack after all these years?

When Jack's teacher assigns his class a penpal, he assumes Alex is a girl. He soon discovers in a conversation, he was a guy. Shocked as he is, he slowly begins to figure out that he has fallen for him. He didn't realize at first, but with the help of his conscience and friend, figures it out.

Then there's Oli Sykes, living the life in England with his million dollar clothing company. When the apocalypse hits, their lives change for the worst and they have to find a way to survive. When their stories come together, will everyone be able to find their way to safety? Or will they be running forever?

Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat were deeply intertwined. Since they were silly kids roaming around Baltimore till they hit the greatest stages ever. On the other hand, Kellin Quinn hated when someone get obsessed with him. He hated receiving so much attention. Yes, he did, but Vic Fuentes was his only exception. What if the world suddenly overturn?

An alternate universe Jalex based in high school where i attempt to make the story line original and cute, but it's all a matter of opinion really, i can't brainwash you into gushing over cuddles. No Jock vs Nerd cliches here, just two neighbors who eventually fall in love. Sound's pretty straight forward, right? But do you dare to believe me, or is there more than what meets the eye? (The actual Jalex begins at about 7, the chapters are kind of short and it's always hinted before then but if you're not that patient then i thought you might want to know ^__^) (Written in the constant P.O.V of Alex, but Jack is mentioned in basically every chapter so you won't have to keep up with the constant switch)
