"What are we?!" Justin finally bellowed, making Ariana stop on her tracks, her back facing him. Feeling her heart clenched at the desperation and pain in his voice, she didn't even utter a single word despite that. "Why won't you answer me?!" he said with mixed emotions, as he grabbed a hold of her arm and turned her around to face him. His brows furrowed as he took a look of her face with were void of emotions, even though she avoided eye contact with him. "Fucking look at me, Ariana!" he added, shaking her. "I told you, nothing!" she retorted, jerking away from his grip. "Why do you keep repeating that same question over and over again?!" she retorted, already fed up. "We are nothing, Justin! NOTHING!" she screamed at his face, making tears gather at the bottom of his lids as her statement started to sink in. "Nothing?" he whispered, scoffing. "After you fucking led me on, you are telling me we are nothing?!" he said, fighting the urge to breakdown and sob like a baby. "I never led you on!" she said. "But you told me you love me!" he said. "I NEVER SAID THAT I LOVE YOU!" she said. "Not in that way, at least..." she whispered the last part, making the tears finally fall from his eyes.
