Who would have thought that a simple photoshoot would change my life forever? Disclaimer: I have nothing against Danneel. I actually think that she is amazing.

Lafayette is a 12 year old girl who spent most of her life in an orphanage. Her mom, a single mom of 4 children, including herself the youngest, struggled in a small, 3 bedroom room apartment. But when she was 4, you apartment building caught on fire. Her and her sister were saved by her next door neighbor. But he was to late for the rest. Her mom and 2 older brothers were burned to death. The last memory she had of that day was the crying and screaming for her family. When she was 6 and sister at 9, her sister got adopted and only she was left. But now, at age 12, living in an orphanage with a friend she made on the first day at that orphanage at age 5, in a the same situation. They both sit there, making friends and then watching them come and go. Lafayette thinks she has no hope for her. One day, another adoption week, many adults came and adopted children. With contact of her only close friend, she was the one of the only kids left. About to go back up to her room to cry in her room, a family came late, a family she least expected. The Collins family.
