The Pogues are broken following the presumed deaths of John B and Sarah. With Pope and his chances of a scholarship ruined, Kiara and any trust her family had left for her gone, and JJ dealing with his dad's rage following him stealing the boat, is there really any hope for them ever getting past this? Or will the trio be forever stuck in the past?

10 years ago my life changed drastically. I can honestly say that running away from Kitty Hawk was the beginning of my end. A lot has happened since then but now I have to face my demons, the damage I caused, the people I hurt, because I got a case in OBX. A murder case I have to solve. Six years have gone by and after going through her first true heartbreak and transferring from Duke University to Berkeley for marine sciences, Kiara Carrera has made quite a life for herself as a marine conservationist in Santa Barbara, California. "Thank you for saving me" "Always" Six pogues, on an island, on a ship, in The Outer Banks they are always together and always there for each other. Because that's what you do as best friends, right? Until your best friend is no longer just your best friend. What happens within the group after they are stranded on the island, it is more than just friendship, there is also love involved. Kiara and JJ get closer and closer until they can't live without each other. But that's just the friendship of course, at least that's what they think. The story takes place after season 2! Enjoy xx

To say Kiara Carrera's life was somewhat unorthodox would be an understatement. It has been since she was five years old. Kie was a likable person. She made friends effortlessly.
