Another whimper and Tyler had to admit that he was half hard. He needed more. He pushed the handle and nudged the door open a tiny bit. Tyler knew Josh's room had the same layout as his own, so the bed was to the left of the door, in the far corner. The perfect view.

After all, his only goal in life was to become President of the United States and the first step to getting there was being elected student body president of his puny public high school that he didn't even want to be at. Everything after that would be a breeze. His next five years were planned out and everything would go according to those plans as long as nobody fucked it up for him. Josh Dun was only in high school to graduate, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try and have fun while he was there. From skateboarding in the halls to vandalizing teacher bathrooms to receiving (and giving) head in the various janitor's closets. And the one thing he thought was the most fun? This is the most misleading title I have ever decided on you know those rlly bad texting/kik fics yeah that's what this is I'm not even making a serious description for this but it actually has a semi plot.

Tyler hates himself, his body, his life. He feels he has no way out, he's experienced 17 years of hell and there's only one way to escape the mental turmoil that plagues his every waking moment. He's covered in bruises, scrapes, and cuts. Josh is 18, with his own faded scars trailing around his body and when he sees Tyler walk into the bathrooms with the same 'far away' look he used to see in the mirror, he knows the younger boy is in danger, but can he save him? Big TW for this book, there will be talk of suicide, self harm, swearing, sexual assault, and other mental health issues. Also please bear with me, i normally just write poetry but i thought id give this a go!

a prequel to i'm telling you the truth (if you wanted honesty) there are mentions of rape, though none happens. someone is asked out on a dare. someone is drugged and photographed naked.
