Being Rohit Sharma's sister wasn't nearly as easy, Arayna Sharma was used to the loud noises and chaos of the world of cricket. She had been surrounded by the sport and paparazzi ( much to her discontent) since she could remember. It wasn't like she hated the sport, quite the opposite.
She always wanted to do something with cricket,so she became a sports journalist! Meeting famous players, which she had already met a thousand times already (thanks to her brother), to interview them ,shooting content, and covering matches. Pretty easy, right? Welp!
Tilak Varma is a rising cricketer, the future of cricket as others say. Ever since he joined the Mumbai Indians squad, Rohit has been very welcoming to him. He treats Tilak as his son, which lead to, of course, multiple dinner invitations and casual meetings of the MI squad at the Sharma home. Since the first time Tilak and little Samaira met, they have been inseparable. Samaira always looks for her Tilak bhaiya and Tilak patiently handles all of her antics.
Though both Arayna and Tilak have met hundreds of times, they have never had a proper conversation. Like NEVER. They had always exchanged a few words.
"Good morning" Tilak had once said, spotting her in the stands fiddling with her camera.
"Oh...uh you too" Arayna had replied with an awkward asf smile.
And then Tilak wandered off to the team giving her one last polite smile which made Arayna think if he even remembered her name. Not that she cares OBVIOUSLY!
