Thranduil fanfic by Nasyuu. After the war in the Lonely Mountain, The Elvenking, King Thranduil went back to Mirkwood with his armies without his son Legolas. After reaching his land near the northern part of the Forest-river, Thranduil's mind and heart are full of memories, sorrows, and regrets. But instead of crying for himself, he heard someone cry for him. The crying sound of an elleth. Who would that be? I assure you this fanfic is 100% my idea supported by stories from Tolkien ofc, hopefully, there'll be some unexpected plot twist, but please don't expect too much haha. Basil was flipping through the pages of her book. When she glanced up she noticed the light from her lamp created shadows that danced on the walls. She stopped and stared at them with a distant gaze. CRASH Basil quickly snapped out of being entranced by the flame in her lamp. She snapped her head to her green bedroom door. "Pops?" Basil called out. "Ahhhh!" Her grandfather cried out. Basil could hardly breathe in fear as she jumped to her feet to see what the commotion was about. She burst out her room and ran through the hallway to the living room. The window was smashed open, books, ink and shelves were scattered on the floor. Basil ran to the window while avoiding the glass. "POPS!" She cried out. She had her head out the window, her eyes stung and her heart was pounding. Pops was no where in sight and as far as Basil thought... Accompanying him is an exiled Rider of Rohan, a Mirkwood Elf Warden representing king Thranduil's interest, and a wayward elf hunter of the woods. They would soon meet a lone hobbit accompanying the wizard Mithrandir and become embroiled within the fate of the region. Is it possible to change the fate of the darkening of Mirkwood? Or will all fall to the inevitable shadow? (This is something of a fanfiction dramatization of an rpg game I run, of Cubicle7's the One Ring's "The Darkening of Mirkwood" adventure. Due to the rather epic 30 year scope, heavy Tolkien influence, and general unknown nature of what exactly happens to the Mirkwood between the Hobbit and the War of the Ring other than that it does not go well for the free peoples. I have decided to do some micro writing of my player's adventures within the region. These will be revised and written in short bursts to maintain my own interest and be kept for general notes on where a narrative might be going and such. Characterization will be lacking at first as I get a feel for my player's characters. At the very least it will help to improve my writing and storytelling skills.)
