A hobbit OC story. Thorin took in an abandoned elf maid, Thranduil's daughter, disowned for loving a common elf. She died in childbirth, leaving Thorin with a "daughter". If you're here for a romantic love story, you're in the wrong place. This was written mainly for the paternal relationship cuz I think we all appreciate Thorin's soft side.

"I cannot raise a child!" Thranduil said aghast. "What she needs is a mother and a father- a proper family," he sighed. "Maybe she has found them in you..." It was said that after the death of his Queen, the Elven king became bitter and cold. Everyone thought their wise king to be lost to grief. When 3 hobbits are set off on a quest to take a ring to Rivendell, many unexpected things happen. Said ring holds much more power than anyone could ever imagine. With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins. A 'Lord Of The Rings' Fanfiction BOOK TWO - Middle Earth Series Adriel is a young half-elf from Lothlorien. She embarks on yet another journey across Middle-Earth to aid Frodo Baggins in destroying the ring of power. Along the way, new and old foes arise as well as challenges the half-blood girl has never faced. Join her as she fights to keep Sauron's darkness at bay as well as her own witch bloods bad history as she learns about her past and her people as well as the fight to reclaim her mother's homeland. *The first like fifteen chapters were written in first person but I changed the point of view so if you see any weird "I" "Me" My" "Us" or "We" I apologize, its hard editing them all out!* *My chapters are very long - averaging at about 5000ish words* *I added some of my own history (race of witches) into the story as well as twisted some characters that were already pre existing* *I obviously don't own Tolkien's characters* *I'm still in the process of writing and am loosely editing - the entire story is nearly finished though (19/22 chapters are written and will be posted soon!)*

Alyssa Lothran is a reserved, but adventurous hobbit maiden who has just come of age. She is a skilled archer and pianist, and lives a peaceful life with her mother and little brother in the Westfarthing of the Shire near Michel Delving. However, when she decides to go on a late-night ride and is chased by wolves, she ends up miles away in Hobbiton. She stumbles upon Bilbo Baggins' hobbit-hole, and intends on staying the night. However, a party of dwarves arrive that night and she joins Thorin Oakenshield's company on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. During this adventure, she has to learn to let go of her past, forms close bonds that she never had, and unexpectedly falls in love. I do not own the Hobbit or any of its characters. Rights go to J.R.R. Tolkien and Warner Brothers. The only characters I own are Alyssa Lothran and her family members, Nora Fairfoot, and Brice Bilberry.
