Laura Kinney or X-23 as she was known, is in a different world. Unlike most other versions of her across the multiverse, which she has met, this Laura is significantly more powerful. This is due to the fact that when she was created, Laura was met to be an upgrade from Wolverine. The people behind her creation seemed to learn from Weapon X. As a result, Laura's entire skeleton is now laced in Adamantium like her father, however, unlike him, it is not toxic to her body. This means her healing factor is not burdened by adamantium poisoning, making her regenerative abilities unparalleled. It is unknown exactly how they managed to do this. However, because of the fact, Laura is even more dangerous than her main universe counterpart. In a typical battle with an unidentified mutant with a dimension hopping ability, Laura is transported to this strange world called, Night City. Now stuck in a desert like area called the badlands, Laura goes on to do what every 'merc' does. Take contracts, make insane money and kill whoever gets in her way.

Here, it's as if the stories they'd heard in their childhood had come alive in their own ways, different elements, but the same general idea. As they try to find a way back to Zootopia, however, things get complicated quickly. Turns out they're apparently the chosen ones for a prophecy proclaiming two beings to vanquish the evil in this realm. The problem? The prophecy's asking for a prince and princess. They got a fox who's too busy cracking jokes and a bunny who's too busy avoiding that side of herself. But of course... prophecies tend to come true...

When a killer strikes Zootopia, dedicated to a strange and perverted sense of justice, Judy and Nick are drawn into a case unlike anything they've seen in their many years as detectives. Inspired by older murder mystery novels, this will be a darker take on our favorite cop duo. A bit of Wildehopps, but with a focus more on the detective work.
