The Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom woke up one morning and realized it was the same day as yesterday.
And tomorrow was the same day, too. And the day after tomorrow.
Someone had sent him a package. Inside was a golden pocket watch, with two lines engraved on its cover:
"Every day comes only once. And stays only once."
At first, Julius Novachrono thought it was the worst thing that had ever happened.
Then he thought it might be the greatest opportunity in history.
The greatest mage in the world, with endless time: he could make every test risk-free, attend every meeting, and never be late again.
Never.
Until he discovered that every time he turned the day back, something was taken from him.
Something he had never known how to name until then:
his yesterdays.
And only one person knows the price of the bargain:
A lady who sleeps while running the Pearl Market inside her dreams.
And at the end of East Alley, there is a shop with a dusty round window and a door that is always half-raised.
The old man inside does not sell watches.
He sells days.
Days that their owners returned unfinished.
Even "an ordinary day in the life of a Wizard King."
