In a society full of cat shifters Kora is a jaguar indeed, a rare breed, but ever rarer she is a black jaguar. The rarest there has ever been, only one every hundred years a lot of people would want her. The strongest, most intelligent, and beautiful. Her parents have told her to keep her secret, everyone believes she is just a little human girl. She keeps this secret from everyone, her feline impulses are like any other, but hers are stronger. She has normal eyes but her cat eyes show up when she is angry, so her parents make her wear sunglasses all the time. Mates are a thing, and so are packs, like werwolf packs but they are called prides. A lion heads each pack in the country, and they rule with their mates. The new pride leader has just come to town, he is looking for a mate to rule beside him, but he didn't count on having a human girl for his mate. Or a black jaguar.
