' Jade blinked, her cat eyes adjusting to the darkness quickly. She had no idea where she was. Her heart burned with loathing. She had to find the stupid vampire that had knocked her out, and fast, before her Beast side took over. She remembered the Elder's words. "I've only known one other with a Beast soul. He found out his mate was with his brother. He became furious and let his Beast side take over him. He died that day." Lila lifted herself up, her head growing fuzzy as the Beast's soul slowly took over. Fur was beginning to grow on her arms and face. Through the fog that was condensing in her brain, she felt a small tickle as claws slid out of her fingers... All of a sudden, there was a loud BANG and the darkness was suddenly flooded with light. This is mostly about a girl. Not a Lake, Or a boy of clay, or a Jaguar, or a stone. Its not about shipwrecks, or the Kirtland Warbler and Brown headed Cowbird, though all these things are in the story. Its well mostly about a girl.

You, Alurah, shall deliver the five to the Keepers. But, don't let them see you, for that would be breaking the Order." With that, Alurah bowed her head and took the Gems from her leader. She drew out her wings and flew off on her journey- To find the first Keepers of Earth.
