Alex has a head time trusting people. So when none other than Jack Barakat walks into his life and won't leave he thinks things are starting to look up for him. Jack is popular to say the least. Since eighth grade girls were throwing themselves at him. Little does anyone know he has a few secrets left untold. And everyone at Dulaney High School has quite a few sick little games to play.

Jack's parents are low key homophobic, but they don't argue as much with Jack about his bisexuality as much as they used to. However, now that the holidays have rolled around, they want Jack's (non-existent) girlfriend to join them at their lake house getaway for Christmas. Jack, tired of their passively homophobic bullshit asks Alex to be his fake fiancé, all for a prank. But will this little lie turn into something bigger?

They do everything together, almost like brothers. People often joked with them by calling them a secret romance, and the boys would play along, stealing kisses while on stage for their band All Time Low, kisses that never really had an underlined meaning to either of them. But that changes when Jack meets the girl of his dreams, Scarlet Miller. Scarlet is everything Jack wants in a women, she's smart. funny, caring, and she knows how to be one of the guys. Rian and Zack absoultely adore her saying she is a part of the group. None of this sits well with Alex however, he is annoyed by the girl, always giving her a cold shoulder. After all, she is the girl that stole his best friend. Jack has been canceling plans and talking to Alex less and less. Alex hates her, when people ask him about it he simply says she's not right for him. Deep down Alex knows that's not the truth, he has feelings for Jack that he will never admit too. But as time goes on, feelings start to grow to a burning point, feelings Jack nor Alex thought possible.

Jack is madly in love with his bestfriend. But with little miss Lisa in the way will this end up like a happy fairytale ending or a horrid gorry murder scene?
