Amidst corridors of steel and echoes of war, she must choose between duty and desire, between the secret that holds her past and the man who embodies it. Fear and suspicion war within her and James , yet in the clash of shadows and steel, a forbidden tenderness begins to stir. but how would one react if they mistaken forgiveness of ones kind nature to be pure, yet delicate love? when Catherine couldn't figure out what had to be done if she had fallen in love with a man who destroyed her life once. a man she believed was a monster.
**A tale of treachery and trust, of shadows and survival, and of love that dares to bloom where hatred was sown.**
