Kayla didn't even remember she was Kayla when she got thrown into the Glade, as the others liked to call it. Some were desperate to find a way out, some had a promise of death for the creators, but her? Her journey was just at the beginning, although of two things she was hella sure: one, she was the only girl she knew and for what she remembered the only one she'd ever known; two, attitude is what's felt, even when everything is taken away from you: your past, your family, your loved ones. All that matters is the present day, the people surrounding you and the way you react.

When Gally gets left behind by the gladers, a group fighting against WCKD finds him and patches him up. In that group there's a girl, Finley, who's brother was taken by WCKD years ago, she thinks Gally might just be her ticket back to him - or at the very least help her get some revenge. Some bits I made up to fill in the gap between the end of the maze runner and the death cure, but mostly follows the plot of the last movie. Book 1 (Maze Runner [series] rewrite) // Newt Fanfiction Instead of Thomas, Teresa, and Chuck finding a way out of the Maze for everyone, they mess up along the way. They don't make it out, and now they are stuck back in the Glade wondering what to do. WICKED, not wanting to kill them, decided to regulate everything until the Gladers figured their way out. This included the Box, which meant new Greenies until everyone figured out their escape once and for all. When WICKED decided to send up a new Greenie a week after the mishap with the code in the Maze, they messed up and sent up the wrong person. To make it worse, not all of their memory is gone. Disclaimer: All characters belong to James Dashner except for Brea and anyone else I decide to create. All setting ideas and other ideas belong to James Dashner unless I create them.

When Archie came up in the Box, he was accompanied by a girl, Flossy, and another boy, Graham. They arrived in the Glade, unsure of their futures or what would be expected of them. As soon as he said that everyone started to go back to whatever they were doing. I automatically think that he is the leader, But I realize that the only boy that stayed was the box boy and the "leader." Then the leader came up to me, "Hi I'm Alby, I run this place-" he starts, but I interrupt him. "And where am I exactly? Who am I? Why cant I remember anything?" I start bombarding him with questions, when he looks towards box boy and says, "just give her the tour will you Minho?" "sure thing boss" he says while saluting. Alby just rolls his eyes walks away. "Lets go princess," he says to me, "this way." "first of all don't call me princess, and second, where are we going?" I ask him he looks at me then starts to walk, "you'll see," He stops walking, looks at me, smirks, and says, "Princess"
