Tree Hill saw Nathan, Haley, Lucas, Peyton, and Brooke grow up. Now, it's their children's turn to write the next chapter. Jamie Scott and Raegan Ellington have known each other since childhood. They grow up in Tree Hill, surrounded by their families, their friends, and the stories that have shaped the town. Over the years, they will change, grow, and discover that some relationships are far more important than they had imagined. One Tree Hill is becoming a thing of the past, and a new generation is taking its place. Jamie and Raegan are now teenagers. High school, the Ravens, cheerleading, friendships, dreams, and first loves are set to turn their daily lives upside down. Between childhood memories, family ties, first loves, mistakes, separations, and reunions, they will have to learn to write their own story. Because they are the children of those who grew up in Tree Hill, but their story won't be their parents' story.

A lot has happened to Nathan and Claudia in four years, six months and two days. Nathan came so close to the NBA, Claudia won a Brit and hasn't recorded music since, it was three years ago. She now works as a English teacher at Tree Hill. Grace and Jamie are now four and they have captured everyone's hearts because of their cuteness. Nathan and Claudia face a lot of bumps in the road such as a psychopathic nanny and a cheating spouse. Luckily they are have their olds friends to help them get through it. Everyone kept their promise and came back to Tree Hill four years later. Haley is married to Jack and they have a baby Girl, Lydia Josie Stone. She is two years old. Haley is a French teacher as she dropped out of Stanford to go to France with Jack. Jack now composes music. Brooke has a her clothing line and she came back to Tree Hill hoping to find love, however, she experiences motherhood. Lucas has a new girl, Lindsay. His book was published and he coached Nathan's college basketball team. He is now trying to write his second book. He is now the head coach of the Ravens alongside Skills. Peyton came back to Tree Hill for Lucas, just to find out he has someone new. She tries to win him back and creates a record label in the process, Red Bedroom Records. Basically just the description of each of the characters, why they're important, and some of the important scenes they're involved in. Haley James and Nathan Scott get married and have two kids: Lydia and Jamie. Jamie came out during their high school graduation. Lucas Scott and Peyton Sawyer get married and have one kid(Sawyer) almost leading to Peyton's death. Brooke Davis and Julian Baker get married and as far as we can see in the shows the amount of kids they have is unknown. In the end Jamie beats Nathan in all-time scorer in basketball.
