Alex finds himself falling for Thomas Jefferson but soon realizes that his best friend, John Laurens, is falling too. What he doesn't realize is that John has had a long time love for him, though he doesn't want to ruin his relationship with Alex and is extremely conflicted between who he likes more. In the end, Alexander decides that his feelings don't matter and pushes himself to help land John a date with Thomas, but not just that, he also decides to help them in getting a long-lasting relationship with each other. During this whole process Alexander helps his best friend blow off some sexual steam, only to find that he is not falling for Thomas, he is falling for John too. (THIS STORY IS DISCONTINUED)

The Schuyler's lose their money and have to move down south in order to somewhat survive. Alexander and Lafayette find out from their stepfather George Washington. Alex was still on a mission to find Eliza because even if she wasn't the love of his life she was still his best friend and he had to make sure she was okay. What will happen when all is out in the open?
