Amber Daley an intelligent quick witted woman who's only concern of marriage has been those of her sisters, all 6 of them actually, with her being the 4 child and splitting it evenly among the rest, she has made it not only her concern but duty to make sure they marry off well-being so that their father passed not so long ago. She is always stern and open about the requirements she has for those who approach them, holding on to high (and what some would call harsh) and reasonable standards for whoever has hopes of catching her eye. However, that changes when she catches the eye of a wealthy, withdrawn, and reserved socialite Mr. Howard Kently, she dismisses him for her sister 1 year her senior, but he rejects her without leaving a reason as to why. Although, this upsets Amber, she yearns to know why and in search of the answer she finds herself dwelling on emotions she'd thought had long been gone. Besides Mr. Kently is not too far behind to access his feelings too, feelings Amber had once told him to dismiss, feelings he can hold onto no longer.
