The Cullens are renowned for their prowess in controlling their lust for human blood. Carlisle Cullen, the head of the family and father figure to the other Cullens, teaches his family to become vegan vampires (feeding on animal blood). In the film, the Cullens consist of seven members: Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Rosalie Hale, Emmett, Alice, and Jasper Hale. That's what's depicted in the film and the books. But there's a secret unknown. In fact, Edward wasn't the first person Carlisle saved. It was Briella, a girl who helped Carlisle during his transformation into a vampire. Kyaa! I've been wanting to write a Twilight story for a long time. I swear. Since junior high, I've wanted to write a story about a secret character in Twilight. So I came up with the idea of a character I created who prefers freedom and dislikes being controlled.

The story vaguely follows the movie plot, but not actually all of it. I took scenes from the movie and reimagined them, building my own version of the story upon those scenes. I don't focus on Bella and Edward, here they are only a sort of side-plot. I took a more psychologically grounded approach to the movies and deviated to a different direction, but still using the original plot. I have not read the books and currently don't plan on it, so if you feel like I misinterpreted some major principle, write it in comment and I'll check if I can do anything about it.
