Just a fun little short story for the JCPenney DreamPromposal contest. -------------- She's always wanted to go to prom her senior year. It's been her greatest wish since middle school, and she would totally go, if it wasn't for one problem. She's paralyzed from her waist down. Stuck in a wheelchair her entire life, she's positive that no one's going to ask her to go. After all, who in their right mind would dance with someone who can't even stand? Resigned to this fate, she decides to just finish her high school career without going to prom and accept the fact that she never will. Until one day, one sentence, one boy changes her life forever. #dreampromposal 500 words total. 250 words each part.
