Jesusfreak Stories

These are short reflections on Proverbs. It all started when I was given a task to share devotionals on our Facebook group page, and I figured I should study and meditate on the book of Proverbs and share my reflections. I humbly apologize because I am not a skilled writer, but I love writing and I enjoy writing with Him. My chief end is to point us to Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith. His grace is sufficient. It has been my goal to write about the love of Jesus ever since my encounter face-to-face with Grace.

Why God, why? The question we ask and the answer we may never know. Why did she/he die? Why did I lose my job? Why did this happen to me? WHY? We have all asked God this question at some point in our lives "why". And God mostly never replies to our questions of why, but instead He holds us and is there for us, even when it feels like we are all alone. God is still there with us through it all. This is a devotional book to help us grow closer to God, through life's storms and the "whys" we ask through out our lives. May God bless you as you read and as you grow spiritually. Thank you:

These are a collection of poems written during my revival as teenager and even now as I walk with Christ.

Rena has always been a shy and quiet girl, she was 'stuck in her shell', but when she got into junior high she began to realize that life isn't like a Disney show, life is not like Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Camp Rock, Wizards of Waverly Place, Cheetah Girls, or Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Rena saw the true evils of the real world. Friends changed, basically people changed, all of Rena's friends were gone and separated into groups, all the famous, good Disney Stars were gone, changed. It was a lot to take in. Her only choice was to give everything to God, live for Him, through Him to get through this, and to stop all of the troubles and to go back to the good old days. The only way to do that is to 'break out of her shell'. Is Rena going to 'break out of her shell'? or Is she going to stay 'stuck in her shell' and let the evil take place?

I will try to do a Bible verse each day on this book! I WILL ONLY USE A KJV TO REFERENCE ALL THESE!

If you feel like your life is lacking something or that you don't have a purpose, then I urge you to read this book. If you feel hopeless, depressed, never satisfied, etc, then I urge you to read this book. Inside, you will find a collection of bible verses meant to reassure, assist, and help bring people to Christ. It's a tough world out there, but I know personally that Jesus provides relief. We're Christians, sure. But we're so much more than that. We're Jesus Freaks.

From "Uptight religious monk" to singles being "Future-nuns', enlisted here are insights, common stereotypes, and well, proper rants of what is it like being called a 'Jesus-Freak' in today's society. Christianism may sound serious for y'all, but who said God has no sense of humor? Comming from an under construction teen Christian, I intend to give my insights and opinions on the said topic per chapter, and who knows, maybe I'll add one or two more in one chapter. I ain't God, so don't go assuming I'm adding any new knowledge here. Everyone is welcome to comment and CRITIQUE. But don't worry, I won't go all up yelling "DEMON GO TO HELL" on mean people. •Teaser• Life before Jesus was like... a war head. Picture me in a military uniform popping a green apple war head in my mouth like I'm getting ready for combat. All sour tormenting pain just to get to a sweet spot that wasn't even worth the fight. Now life is like a sweet tart. Mostly sweet but a little tart... the tart being the spiritual warfare, regular degular life being life and well... now people just hate me because I'm in love with Jesus. But it's sooo worth the fight. Just wondering when I'll have a team mate to help me fight this good fight.

Fear clenched me. Just as it always had when my mom got that look on her face. She was one of the legend 3. The strongest dragon trainers on the planet. She knew the stomps meant something big. Dad and her deserted me in the middle of a dusty road to go catch a dragon. The whole town did. And then they found it too strong for any of them. Even my mother. They all died because they lacked their natural instinct of fear. This was when I knew something was wrong with me. I was a defect. And so was he.

You think you know my story? No. Some of it you don't need to know. But most of it is important and before you read any further, you should know, I'm a Christian. I believe things you prolly don't, I say things you prolly won't. This story is to show ya'll that, "There is always hope at the end of the dark tunnels" This story is funny, sad, and heart wrenching. All of this is recorded from my memory, except the names of the people involved. Well here it is everyone! My testimony. My Life.
