This is another one of my Holocaust/Auschwitz-based, fictional stories that take place in the 1940s. Monika Emilia Ziegler was imprisoned at Auschwitz, but she escaped. Now she is on the run. She has to avoid getting caught, but that becomes a challenge when someone from her past runs into her. Just when she thought her life couldn't get any crazier, her life is turned upside down because of the person who she ran into.

Fearing for her safety, Sylvia's mom sends her off to live in America. This is the story of Sylvia Zipper, the diary of a Holocaust survivor.
