It's World War Two in Paris and the Gestapo are deporting Jewish children to concentration camps in Germany. Maria suddenly becomes the head of a Nazi resistance group called The Six Daisies. She, along with her friend Annette, recruit women to help save Jewish children and send them into hiding. But when a child dies in her care, Maria begins to doubt whether she is the best person to lead the resistance. Set with a backdrop of war, who can Maria trust to save the children when she can't even trust herself?
