El fin del mundo no llegó con explosiones ni sirenas. Llegó en silencio, dentro de una escuela, y se propagó más rápido que el miedo. Primero fueron las ausencias. Después, los gritos. Finalmente, el hambre. Cuando la infección comenzó a recorrer los pasillos, nadie murió de inmediato. Los cuerpos siguieron moviéndose, respirando, mirando. Pero algo esencial empezó a perderse en el proceso. Algo que no vuelve. Y cuando el miedo toma el control, incluso los vivos pueden convertirse en algo irreconocible. Sobrevivir no garantiza seguir siendo humano. A veces, solo significa aprender a convivir con aquello en lo que nos transformamos.
