'There was no last kiss in Paris for us, Jen.' He says softly coming back down the basement steps. On her first day as Director, Jen thinks about her last kiss she shared with Jethro six years ago.

Jen starts to obsess over their latest case, it's up to Gibbs to get through to her that she needs to walk away from it before she breaks down, or ends up dead. Back-in-the-day Jibbs, oneshot.

Their lips mould together like they used to do eight years ago. It's Jenny who pulls away from the kiss this time when she needs to breathe. She smiles a little as she leans her forehead against his and simply stares into his eyes as snow continues to fall around them, landing in her hair. "Merry Christmas, Jethro." She says thickly before she turns around and walks away from Jethro for the second time in her life.

The original NCIS team (Gibbs, Ziva, Tony, and McGee) are all grown up and retired. Ziva and Tony are happily married with two children, a boy, Ari and a girl, Tahli Kate. McGee and Abby are also an item and have a girl named Kelly. Gibbs and Jenny live together, raising two boys, Richard and Leroy Jr. Ari, Tahli, Kelly, Richard, and Leroy Jr. are all good friends and go to highschool together. They are all happy until a murder happens at their highschool and they are determined to solve the case and catch the criminal just like their parents did before them.
