Truthfully she was far from 'all right,' but she would never admit to it. A few hours ago her consultant, Patrick Jane, not only killed the serial killer Red John, but also made love to her in the department issue vehicle. Now he sat in a holding cell.

She wasn't related to the case and yet there was something about her that caught his eye. She had his wife's hair and his blue eyes but there was no way...? Could he have accidentally stumbled across his stolen daughter?

The CBI team has some very tough cases, but for Jane and Lisbon, it's hard to focus. In a moment of sheer panic, while trapped in Lisbon's car rocks from an avalanche, they kissed. Alright, this isn't the best description ever. If anyone could read the story and think of a better description, it would be much appreciated.

The noise of a gunshot reverberated in their ears and rang out through the motel. The pain flashed unexpectedly through his body. It felt like someone was ripping him apart. Patrick Jane felt his body hitting the ground and whimpered out in pain. He didn't know what got over him when he threw his body in front of Lisbon.

A teen pregnancy lead Lisbon to give her son up for adoption when she was only 16.

Finding a birthday present for Teresa Lisbon seemed like an impossible thing to do. At least to Patrick Jane. But then he came up with an idea: He asked her to write down seven things, she always wanted to do but simply couldn't and Lisbon complied. Neither of them knew what awaited them but ghosts from the past, drunken confessions and learning how to juggle were only a few of these things.
