In this, Excalibur gets destroyed by Belroc but when the amulet returns, Daylight also returns.* *There will be 26 Chapters total, 2 parts both with 13 chapters each.* Summary: A year after defeating the Titans, it's been set back to the original Trollhunters team: Jim, Toby, Claire, Blinky and ARRRGGHH!!!. They have a normal life until they are challenged in facing a new evil troll who is more skilled and wants revenge on the them for everything.

Remember that episode in season 3 of Trollhunters, named 'For the Glory of Merlin' and Jim asks, "How did you know we'd come looking for you?" And Merlin says, "Because Jim, I am your father." I thought that'd be a really interesting AU where Merlin is Jim's father. So, that's basically the premise for this AU.

Jim and Claire are my most favorite couple of all time, so this entire book is a book of them.

In this universe, the Young Justice Team and the Trollhunters Team need to find a way to work together to save Trollmarket and to save the world. And in this universe, that way is Claire.

Along the way, he'll have to overcome his own self-doubt and open himself up to a bond deeper than he ever could have imagined. The boy wizard will journey alone no longer. Alternate timeline in which Douxie, rather than Jim, introduces Claire to the hidden supernatural layer of Arcadia. Timeline is set midway through Trollhunters season 1. Jim is still the trollhunter. Enrique never gets kidnapped (for simplicity's sake). Jlaire is relatable and beautiful and I would never discredit it, but Clairxie intrigues me so much more. What began as a simple what-if question spiraled into a fascinating alternate story with character development, twists, angst, and adorable banter. I hope you can enjoy both this and the canon material.

Jim is heartbroken when he goes back in time, knowing it was the right thing to do but unable to handle being the only one to remember all that had happened the past three years. But with the help of Douxie and Archie, he mends his broken heart while fixing the mistakes of the past. Basically Jim is super depressed cos no one remembers anything, but Douxie helps him and they both work together to fight the bad guys while dealing with their trauma and sadness. NOT Douxie x Jim, they have a big brother little brother relationship. Kinda inspired by this one fic 'Your Future Hasn't Been Written Yet' by Sakon76 on Fanfiction.net, but only certain parts. You should read that tho it's really good. And Jim stays the Trollhunter, beacause I say so. I absolutely hated the way Rise Of The Titans ended so I decided to write this fanfic depicting how I would have liked it to go instead. I never actually watched ROTT. I just know how it ended and therefore refused to watch it and wrote this instead, so forgive me if I get some things wrong. WARNING THIS STORY CONTAINS SOME Panic Attacks Mild Self Harm Depression PTSD (Not alot of any of it, it's not the story's main focus but it does happen because I am obsessed with angst.) Ships include Jim x Claire, Toby x Darci, Aja x Steve, Strickler x Barbara, basically just all the canon ones. After his friends help him escape the Darklands, Jim tries to hide the effects it had on him by acting chipper, and taking on all the missions he can take. His friends know that he's lying about being fine, and they can only hope he gets better. WARNING- Contains season 2 spoilers!!

After Jim being turned back in time, he makes things right, and everything goes back to the way it was, but the amulet malfunctions, and he goes right back in time, to when he was in Camelot, and is taken in by Vendel and the rest, and Claire and Toby and their friends must save him.
