Johnny and Dally are the perfect couple. They love each other very much, they show their affection to the whole world quite often, and rarely have fights. And if a fight comes a round it usually dissolves, however on a turn of events there is an incident between the two that ends with Johnny leaving. Big mistake that it all happens and Johnny is hit by a car, dying. - - Dally, who is grieving over this falls into depression until a new joy is brought into his life. Steve Randle and Sodapop Curtis have been best friends for ages but never knew that Sodapop had been in love with him since he was 14. He thought Steve was perfect in every way shape and form but he knew deep down it wasn't true. Steve was angry at life at the Socs and most of all his dad.
