I'm so sorry Klaus ---- Buttfuck, Illinois, 1945 Germany, The Once Powerful 1000 year reich..has fallen. After millions of senseless deaths and 6 long years of fighting the conflict seems to finally be coming to an end. German forces across the country surrender in droves and on May 8th, the official surrender of all German forces is signed. As Germany is forced to pay the price of War, some 360,000 German POWs are sent to the United States under labour programmes to fill the gap that the draft had created in the workforce, many Germans are sent to work in Factories, Farms and other people. We meet Klaus Scharff, a young Lieutenant who is serving in the German Army as a Tank Platoon Commander and the Commander of a STuG, He and his crew have been through the past 6 years of war together and have formed a bind that can only be forged in Combat. When the war is coming to an end they flee from Berlin, where the soviets had just emerged victorious and flee west, surrendering to American Forces instead. He, along with his crew are part of the thousands of Germans sent to the U.S. The townsfolk of Smellsville, Illinois, a rather unfortunately named quiet town in the north of the state are extremely sceptical about the arrival of Germans, fearing that they will try to cause chaos inside the town. The only people more sceptical are the Germans themselves, Klaus, like many of his friends are heavily against being made to work in a Foreign land and are furious they aren't going home to their parents, wives and children's. A young woman named Lucy is by far one of the most against it, she works as the towns teacher and is heavily against the thought of Germans working in the town, will she warm up to the Germans? Or will she maintain her mind? The story of the German prisoners is still up in the air, and only time can tell. -- book is dedicated to cad, HP and Klaus This book shouldn't be taken to seriously, its just a fun project me and my friends are working on
