Elstarkra was the daughter of Inspector Javert. He had raised her on his own. What happens when Elstarkra joins the barricade boys. Her friends at the barricade needed her help and she was happy to help them. No matter what her fathers thoughts on the matter was. Elstarkra was always a wide eyed child. She knew the law like the back of her hand, but that didn't mean she couldn't get into childish antics. A café stood in a street, she hadn't seen it before, but the mysterious cafe always appeared in her dreams. She never told her father, with him being an inspector he had a reputation to uphold. Raphael is a part of Les Amis De L'ABC, a revolutionary group fighting for the people of Paris. He knows the risk of being with them, but is willing to give his life for his brothers. It helps that both his little cousin, Gavroche, and one of his closest friends, Enjolras, is in the group. Enjolras is the one who suggested he come. But when the time is finally arriving for the group's cause, there is one member of Les Amis who just isnt as committed as Raph and the others. Marius. He is hopelessly in love with a girl, and none of them can get him to commit more to them than he is to her. It irritates him. But when he is the first one to die on the barricade, it changes everything. They hear rumours two women have killed themselves. His girlfriend's father has left Paris. This was now affecting much more than themselves. Soon, they heard one more rumour that at least a hundred more men were being told to fight to take the barricade down. They hardly believe it, but in the next battle, they are hit with such force that two more men die. Enjolras commands all women, fathers and children to leave. Raph begs Gavroche to leave, but he refuses, but is killed in the next battle alongside Eponine, his sister. Both of Raphael's cousins are dead. He leaves the barricade, but the next day, he hears shots, and rushes back. They are attacking with such force that their forces would never survive it. He arrives just as Enjolras commands them to shoot back. He runs to him, sees him fall, and feels a shot himself. He dies. The only survivor is Enjolras. Les Misérables, a beloved story that never ceases to pull at the heart strings. But what happens when a new girl enters the mix at the Musian? Can she change the the fate of the barricade boys? Or simply, their outlook on life?

Enjolras knows it's the end of the line when his friends have all been killed and he alone remains, standing defiant against the National Guard. He was prepared to die for his friends and countrymen. Of course, he was joined by Grantaire in his last moments, holding his hand as they were both shot. Enjolras knew he was dead. That was, until he wakes up in a bed that is not his, in a room that is not his, and in a time period that is definitely not his. His old friends are alive and well, but Enjolras seems to be the only one who remembers their failed revolution. Or: Enjolras is shot at the barricades on that day in 1832, but wakes up in the future with no memorizes of a life there.

Gantaire is a depressed art student. Enjolras' majoring in politics and has really bad asthma and anxiety. They share a room and a friend group. When Enjolras walks into their dorm, he knows Grantaire has gotten a new assignment. The smell of paint and alcohol is heavy in the air and Enjolras can't help but cough.
