Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter never really imagined themselves as actresses. But when the school musical comes around, and the theater director is desperate to save his dying career, their acting skills are put to the test. Though some have had more practice than others with playing different roles in life. Kai despises his ex, Levana, and to help his father keep his position in the school, he and his friends join the school musical. To his dismay, Levana is going for the lead female role, and he might get the lead male role. Then, after he meets a shy brunette and her friends, things start to change. Will Cinder be the heroine and save the play? Or will Levana poison the performance and destroy all of the happy endings?

A Lunar Chronicles AU in which the characters are in their senior year of a modern day high school.

(tlcsw pt.3) It started with Kai's hoodie going missing for the first time and ended with Cinder's heart being stolen for the millionth time, written for prompt 'kaider thieves' in tlc ship weeks 2019!

It's been six months since Kai and Cinder got engaged, and the wedding is fast approaching. Everyone is excited for the day, that is until Cinder is given 21 days left to live. This story will be told entirely from Kai's point of view in poetry form. The chapters will be short. All of the characters belong to Marissa Meyer. I'm going to warn you all now that this story is not a happy one. If you don't like that, then don't read it. Also, it's whack and way different than my normal stuff. Plus it doesn't make sense. Are you getting why I didn't post it for two years?

What if the perspectives of each chapter were flipped? What if you knew what Kai was thinking when he saw Cinder at the ball? What if you knew what Peony was thinking when she was in the junkyard?
