The Mikaelson family celebrate Hope's birthday when an unexpected gift is delivered for her. With no idea who it is from, they wait curiously and patiently for the sender to be revealed. Everyone believes that Klaus has never formed a bond like the one he has with Caroline.

When he gets there, he learns the favor Klaus is asking is to take care of his daughter until the dangers in New Orleans are settled. It takes a little convincing, but Stefan accepts. Will he take great care of Hope? Will he stay in Mystic Falls with Hope? Or will he leave for her safety? If he does leave will he eventually go back to Mystic Falls? They want to give her their powers because they are becoming to much for the other side to handle. they believe she is the most pure-hearted human vampire they've ever seen. And they trust she will do good with these powers. They also believe that she needs to go to Klaus and his Family to help defeat a powerful threat. Will she accept these powers. Caroline turned it off and planned everything. Staying away from Louisiana was her priority. Klaus could not know about her. She only wanted a year of freedom. Takes place after 6x15 of The Vampire Diaries and during the season two of The Originals.

I think we can all agree that The Originals ending was rushed and crappy. Here's a way better ending for all you Klaroline shippers.

Caroline had set out to reconcile with Elena and instead is met by Klaus, who mourns the death of his youngest brother while trapped in Elena's living room by the Bennet witch Bonnie. How will Caroline satiate Klaus' new found bloodlust for the doppelgänger? And what happens when an unknown figure from the Original's past comes into the picture?
