For decades, the killing game has captivated the world. To a few, it is hope. To some, it is a horror. To most, it is despair. With its presence captivating any and all, acting on one's beliefs may prove just as dangerous as partaking in it. (Disclaimer: This AU is based on the ending of Danganronpa V3. If you have not seen it or plan to see it, this AU will contain spoilers. If you do not plan to see it, then read at your own risk. Certain things may be extremely confusing) All Danganronpa plot/characters go to the rightful owner, Kazutaka Kodaka, and their respective creators. As well as the company Spike Chunsoft.

Pregame split personalities of both Kokichi and Shuichi disturbs them, the truth is way too ugly to accept so they keep on lying...

This AU series follows Himiko Yumeno, a little mage once under the shadow of a curse that had stripped her of her emotions, and Kokichi Ouma, a mischievous and clever jester, who both reside in the quaint and whimsical village of Hope's Peak Hollow. Join Kokichi and Himiko, the jester and the mage, on their adventures filled with mischief and magic as they take on curses and hexes, vikings, pirates, fairies, vampires, trolls, and much more!

After the killing game has ended, it's discovered that the sixteen students have been in comas for the past three years. They were put into a virtual world for three years to stimulate their brains, however the killing game was the result of an inside job within the coma ward, and was televised to the world by the footage being rerouted to a channel. The 'Danganronpa' games have been around for a while, and is run by an undisclosed group (obviously). The group runs this show illegality, however unlike the other 51 games, no one actually died... since they were in comas in a virtual world. Shuichi and the others who survived to the end, have all woken up, whilst many others who died. The only ones who are awake that died in game includes: Kaede, Rantaro, Ryoma, and Kirumi. Once they FINALLY start to adjust to living life again, they are thrust into the fifty fourth Danganronpa game. Before you read: There WILL be- dark themes, triggering topics (if a chapter contains one, I will put a warning at the start), and of course swearing I do NOT own any of the characters, they belong to Spike Chunsoft All art is mine unless specified otherwise (including the cover art!)
