A famous singer, once described as modern day cupid, Rahul Jaykar was now reduced to less than a famous figure. Drinking in frustration had fried up his voice, and he was becoming a distraction to his love, Aaruhi's career, because she withdrew herself from singing just to live with him. He takes a decision, and unexpectedly meets another guy going through the same feeling. Kabir Singh is an arrogant but warm hearted guy, and as he and Rahul tell their nightmares which came true to each other, both realise that love doesn't spare anyone.
