He is immature to have not much experience of 'love' so he didn't realize the presence tanjiro made actually make him more open up and warm. As a young boy, Hoshi Kyodojo was always on the more quiet side, but he adored the stars. He lived on the lower half of Kumotori mountain not too far from the village, though just because he was quiet and kept to himself didn't mean he didn't have multiple people around him. Hoshi grew up in a full household, which was sometimes hard since they didn't have much. He had three other siblings that cared dearly for him, as he did for them. The youngest, Hino Kyodojo, was an outgoing little girl. Her name came from the word Hinode, which meant sunrise since she was like the beaming sun as it rose from its slumber. The next sibling was another little girl by the name of Hina Kyodojo, which was the older twin of Hino. Hina was more of the calm and kind type, and got the taller genes out of the two. Beside from the twins height, they tried to keep their appearance different so the villagers could tell them apart, and you'd never see one without the other close by. The oldest of the four Kyodojo siblings was Kenja Kyodojo. Kenja was a wise man, being where his name came from meaning just that. He was the oldest leaving Hoshi as the middle child. The Kyodojo parents were kind people as well. The father (which the children called Oto-san) was a tall humble man that cared dearly for his children, but had gotten terribly ill by the time they had the twins, Hino and Hina. The mother (which the children called Okaa-san) was a kind lady. She was more on the short side. She also loved her children dearly, and would do anything for their sake. Everybody shut up and listen!" A tense hush fell over the group as muffled sobs pierced through the abrupt silence. "Wha-?" murmured Rengoku, who had been surprisingly quiet until now. "Quick! Zenitsu help me move this!" said Tanjiro, motioning to a particularly large piece of rubble. He nodded as they both rushed over to try to heave it out of the way. Upon noticing their struggle, Tengen groaned, "Oh my flashiness! Just move out of the way and let me handle this, you incapable morons!" Zenitsu rolled his eyes while Tanjiro just nodded earnestly as they both moved aside, allowing Tengen to move the the debris obscuring the source of the noise and toss it aside. "G-Giyuu-san?" Tanjiro whispered under his breath. For sitting there, curled up defensively was not the impassive, stone-cold pillar of strength they all knew-no. Sitting there was a young child-no older than 5- whimpering softly. Tengen's mouth practically dropped to the as the small boy looked up. His hair was no longer messy and unkempt, instead it cascaded down his shoulders in mesmerising , ebony waves. Brilliant blue eyes innocently blinked up at them, an entire ocean as the sapphires looked around nervously, taking in his surroundings.
