first actual fanfic also starting this because Netflix canceled the show so I am going to be doing season two if it was written by me. only part from the books is about the door I will talk about it in my own way. all characters belong to Jonathan Stroud, except my Ocs. Her parents were extremely angry at this decision, deciding to kick her out and instead live with her aunt Catherine in London. Even though Keira's aunt was not particularly nasty, it was her boyfriend that caused Keira to dislike living there. So, after curfew a few days after moving there she ran away. The details of this night were all hazy now, as if it never really happened and it was all a dream... Something about a horde of lurkers and Lockwood saving her? Keira almost got ghost locked. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘎𝘰𝘥 she was right outside 35 Portland Row. She'd be dead if she was anywhere else.

The fiery feminist has endured a few months under the employ of Mr. Rikkard Ambrose, however it seems that not even the sunny season can thaw her employer's icy façade. That is, until a certain correspondence changes everything and Lilly, Mr. Ambrose, and Karim are sent on trip they won't soon forget. Only in the summer can the days grow longer, the nights turn warmer, and the unexpected be anticipated. NOTE: All wonderful major characters, settings, and references to previous plots from "Storm and Silence" belong to Robert Thier.
