Tavros is a kid of culture, who enjoys reading works of fiction. Manga could be found in libraries, but a manga cafe had wonders that you just wouldn't see anywhere else. It's the year 3000. The world has discovered the existence of demons. The kind that have pointy ears, Glowing bright eyes, claws, fangs And, once at a certain age, a need for a human plaything. A sexual plaything. So Humans started training hunters. The most common would be the tricksters. They are incredibly smart and love pranks. They also have the earliest plaything needing time. Only 13 years. Now There is one thing the humans didn't think about. The good demons who never wanted this, and try to prolong thier needs As long as possible. Dirk strider is such a demon. A trickster of 16 years. He doesn't have a plaything because he doesn't want one. He is fighting his instincts everyday. And to make matters worse, he has to go to school where a Demon hunter named Dave strider(Related or not, we will never know) has showed up and his need for a plaything just. skyrocketed. He has his sights set on Dave, and won't rest until he is HIS.

Dave's new art project snowballs into a messy situation with his relationship with Karkat. But really, mindless fluff. Characters are all legal adults within this fic. All character and story rights belong to Andrew Hussie

Karkat starts 10th grade at new school soon and he is terrified. On top of all his anxiety and worries, he meets someone new who might change his life altogether. Will it be for better or worse? Who knows. Dave's dreads school starting. He wasn't too excited to be surrounded by screaming girls and boys. Being this popular wasn't too fun, yeah it has its perks but he still doesn't like it much. His whole life is about to change when he meets someone new.
