Modern AU-Avatar universe. Aang ran away and became a refugee in the fire nation. One day he collapsed on the sidewalk from exhaustion. He thought he was gonna die but then a woman in blue sneakers passed by and saw Aang and rolled him an apple to eat. Aang tried to look up to see who it was but couldn't but instead saw the girl's shoes.

Following the disastrous invasion of the fire nation, Aang and Katara have gone into hiding. Deep in the ruins of an ancient air temple they develop their bending skills - and their feelings for one another. Sorry if isn't great (my first time writing a story) I haven't really planned it but let me know if you like it. The story takes place during there kiss at the Jasmine Dragon. It's cute trust me!

Before he knew it, his entire body fell limp in their hands, unknowing of anything that aspired next.
