Some would call it awakening. Others, inheritance; a few, the start of a new hierarchy. But none of those words were present at the time. At the time, there was only a boy, a being that did not belong to any known Mafia system, and a question that would define everything that came after: What does it mean to be chosen? What the wider underworld understands of the Regalia Famiglia is limited, and intentionally so. They are not a branch of the Vongola. They are not an allied expansion of any major Family.
