Wren, aged sixteen, is trying to find an interest in boys, outfits and looks, for the sake of fitting in with her new friend group. But, as the story progresses, she gets sidetracked on her mission to fit in with the herd. She learns more about Hazel, her best friend, Evelyn, her frienemie, and herself.
