This is a story about the selection told through the point of view of Queen Amberly. I'm planning on sticking very closely with the original story line of the selection so I suggest that you read that amazing book before you read this. All rights go to Kiera Cass. Let me know what yall think:)

With the arrival of The Crown so close I thought i'd write a fanfiction of how I think it should go! Most characters belong to the queen of everything, Kiera Cass (who I am most definitely not)

It's an alternate ending, Maxon chose Kriss because he was heartbroken over America and the king and queen weren't killed. Slowly King Clarkson grew distance from his wife and children but Amberly always kept teaching her kids about humble values and staying true to themselves. Once their children were old enough, it was time for their eldest son to host a selection. King Clarkson and Queen Amberly with the help of Messenger, they had sent letters to elegible ladies and discover see who'll win his heart. Once the event ended with the chosen Lady of Illéa Miss America Singer, there would be wedding preparations ahead of time. While everyone was distracted, the young princess continued with her training with her long time best friend and crush but nobody knows what would happen if her father The King finds out. She is also enjoying married life with Maxon. The beginning of the story takes place in the month of November, two months away from the first anniversary of their marriage.
